  • that good feeling (and a healthy body in general) happens when you are relaxed, using your mind/body at your whim, while at the same time honoring it and maintaining it (eating well). The mind can be our best friend, or our worst enemy.

Just remember friend... that good feeling will suddenly go away and stuttering will begin when you LET your mind cut it on you. Then your energy moves to those thoughts in your mind and away from your vocal chords, mouth and tongue, and speech ends.

  • I am only different from you in that i let go of the past and i do not identify with my body/mind, for i am the consciousness that resides within. Although this is advantageous to me in using my body (and my vocal chords) to their maximum potential, i have realized this that you have not - what happens physically in the body first happens in the mind.

Let me talk to you about that good feeling - you know the one - when you are speaking smoothly and eloquently.

  • Please don't listen to godsaway buix. There is no work that you are doing. The non-stuttering you is there within you, NOW, every Now, which is the only moment we ever have. Mind and body is one, if you believe you are a stutterer then you are going to stutter.

You speak of stuttering avoidance here... but that has never been a problem for me because you are right - avoidance is tied to fear and anxiety that comes from the mind - your beliefs.

  • Thank you for the response to the video. As a person who stutters and have dealt with many confusing dilemmas with the factors that cause my stuttering, I enjoyed your insight on the physiological basis of stuttering while the secondary behaviors are but of consequence of the maladaptive psychological feelings. Thank you once again. Your secondaries by the way seem to be dissipating quite a bit, keep up the work.
