Singin' In The Rain

A routine I choreographed and performed in March 2008. Song is "Singin' In The Rain" by Mint Royale. I'd like to have done some all-out poppin', lockin' and b-boying, but for the purposes of the assignment I kept the moves rooted in a jazzy, classic style (with a few modern twists throw in). Props to the immortal Gene Kelly. Props to Elsewhere, Jay Walker and Bboy Crumbs, the 3 dancers who modernized Kelly's routine in that amazing VW Golf GTI commercial from back in 2005 (also on YouTube and well worth checking out).

I love watching the Volks. Golf commercial repeatedly! I think you do a very fine job in your interpretation of this song! I only wish that you could've had it filmed in a higher quality format, so as to display your excellent talent more clearly!
