i dont find this film scary but its good because its a classic. Like 'pshyco' its not that scary but its a god watch because its a classic.

The one hope... the only hope... the Exorcist. I remember these words as a kid, watching the trailer in '73. This film has stood the test of time. Outstanding cinema. 70's movie-making at it's best.

OMG this is scary. I once had a dream about the girl. Was I scared yes, and with all the real stories about exorcism not really a relief as I woke up. But great movie at the time. A true classic.

There are many beautiful qualities about this film. I think some of the most effective and poignant moments occur in the moments without dialogue,when the characters (even Pazuzu) are left alone to think..that's when when we get that ethereal, cavernous soundtrack weaving in and out like a spell. The Exorcist is its own world.
