I watched this when I was fourteen, and I never thought anything was remotely scary. I've seen worse kids programmes.

It's not a scary movie unless you're watching it in the dark all alone, with the lights switched, then I suppose I could call it a little scary.

I'll give an honest non-biased opinion here:
I'm 15 & I've watched loooads of horror films, and this definitely wasn't on my top 10 for the scariest, there's a lot worse!

some people make it out to be worse than it is really.
it's a good film dont get me wrong & too rights it's creepy! but as for "one of the scariest films ever made" maybe in 1973 but not so much now, great watch mind:)

too much hype and it was so boring and so rubbish it was such a let down id never watch it again it was not scary except from that 2 minutes of horror in the end but except from that CRAP

@ranuvawinter  that was with the real UNCUT exorcist movie but the director got rid of it.
