- - - Kraftwerk Computer Love - Coldplay Talk - Trinity's Breakfast Kraftwerk style edit - - -

This amazing re-creation of COLDPLAY`s song - TALK - is a spirited cultural experiment by a multi-creative producer of various projects in the last 10-15 years. His name is Zoltan Marton. He is the leader of Trinity's Breakfast.

"It is a tribute to the new form of invitation and celebration that COLDPLAY have made with their song. Finally, it is a tribute to the German sound inventors: KRAFTWERK.

We want to - TALK - about our world, the age of technology, the speed of change and the human difficulties of the times we are living in. It was precisely our aim with this version: to reply to the calling of COLDPLAY and Chris Martin. We also wanted to properly feed back COLDPLAY`s respectful message to the electro dudes, producers and fans of today as well as to KRAFTWERK, the grandfathers of techno culture.
It seems that COLDPLAY has built a unique cultural bridge above 30 years of pop history. Nice!

With our version, we want to invite everybody to experience the total-body feeling that we felt when we first heard the voice of Chris Martin in a full KRAFTWERK kind of sonic environment that we re-built.

None of the original KRAFTWERK sounds or cutted samples were used in this edition.

For us KRAFTWERK sound means a method, a special technology and a pretty patient and creative state of mind. This method is also about always making something new and something that has a harmony.

The total cult-like meeting starts when Chris Martin`s new lyrics rise up as a nice lead vocoder tune. The notes are based on the work of Kraftwerk members.

The vocoder is a typical tool of KRAFTWERK`s sonic magic in a different form. They use vocoder in many songs: NUMBERS , AUTOBAHN , MORE FUN TO COMPUTE , EXPO 2000, ROBOTS, MANMACHINE, and others.

We also like and use lot of vocoder solutions in Trinity's Breakfast just like in other projects like Casio Samples, Planet
Presso, or on the Rescue of the Marionettes album made in 2005 in Prague. (find on www.keyfame.com)

More about Zoltan Marton:
Born in 1975 in an invaded and betrayed country, Hungary.
During the strange communist resim there were no free record labels, record stores or free radio stations. To find the artwork of Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode or J.M. Jarre in Hungary in the 70's was already something like a spy game. A special interest of some radio programs or forbidden radio stations was a colour in Zoltan's childhood. His father is an electro-technician and inventor making small panels with tiny electrical parts like capacitors, transistors, diodes and leds, speakers giving strange signals. It was a huge artistic inspiration for Zoltan Marton and this influence is the very essence of the strange, harmonic and dynamic TRINITY's BREAKFAST sound-world.
So...that's why for him it was a great challange to make this edition of the song TALK, and Computer Love.

About copyright questions:

The makers try to infringe on copyrights as little as possible. In the age of the internet, however, copyrights are almost only protected by a state of mind. To toe this line respectfully would be nice.
This edition includes some sampled parts of COLDPLAY`s song - Talk - but we don't have any intention to sell this product.

U can easily download a 70 track high quality collection from the TRINBREAK music-workshop on keyfame.com

  • 6 people found this bad??? WTF r they stupid?? This is GREAT!!

  • Anybody have a clue where this event was filmed? At Carnival in Rio???

  • Though, I thought lyrics from both songs would be together.

  • YES! I've wanted a remix of the two songs!

  • Fascinating! Would be great to look mr. marton over the shoulder while he is working. I assume one can learn a lot. But in the very end you can not learn the creativity of him ;-(

  • into the melody but the sound and style is kraftwerk. the only band I love like Kraftwerk actually, is one hiting strong in Italy. Search SWAVE IN THE FUTURE. is very different
