Hey man, I can't really give much advice on this, but I wanted to say that I'm praying for you and I don't know what you think of Christianity or religion in general and I don't know much about your situation but I feel like I'm being told to tell you that you do have a Heavenly Father who loves you and wants desperately to be a part of your life, and I think He's bringing you and your father together for a purpose. I watch all of your videos and I wish you the best of luck. You're awesome man.

@ChibiNinjaStudios I'm not Christian, I'm just highly spiritual and acknowledge the presence of a higher being. I don't know if that thing is called God, Allah, Ehyeh, Yahweh, Shen, or Wakan Tanka. But i know its out there. I know its real and it watches me. I think he likes me a bit more than other people. Perhaps I amuse it. Or it just listens to the advice and prayers of my ancestors and keeps me safe.

As a guy whose father also hasn't been there, I would suggest meeting him (in a public place). Go in there with an open mind, but don't expect anything. He has been out of your life so long, you mentally aren't gonna accept him right away. He is most likely gonna feel guilty, and if it were me, id probably be angry. There is so much emotion in that meeting, its hard to know what do or say.

@phrozenfury I'm told he lives in Wichita, Kansas, So if I do meet him it will have to be one of us making the trip. And Im not going there. Ive been there before, its the asspit of the US. Knowing he is even in the vicinity only makes it worse. There is no industry there, no real jobs, so it makes this whole ordeal even more cautious for me. There is a large prison there... so... y'know.

The first 10mins had me spooked! Whoa.. . But regarding your Father...don't let him off the hook. He is probably reaching out now because of what HE needs...to complete HIM. What about what YOU needed all these years??? Treat him as any other man...but be respectful. Make him "earn" the distinction of "Father". It is not automatic merely beacause of "bilogy"! Also...don't assume that not having your "biological Father" around always affects people negatively. Hope it goes well.

i'm a little late on this but i kind of know what you're going through. my father was absent (for the most part) from life also. and a couple months ago he out of nowhere decided to 'visit' me in Oakland. from what i remember he was a pretty clean cut guy and a sharp dresser. the man i saw earlier this year didn't even look like the same person, which led me to the conclusion he fell on hard times and was looking for a place to stay. i still don't feel like i know the real him but we still talk
