i'm not sure if I like this or "some sunday morning" better ... i think this because he is by himself .. not knocking his co-star at all ... i like the more spirited song too ~ shows his lighter side. wish we could have seen more of that in his movies :)

@TheMusicanddrama ... Just pick it apart, why don't ya ... dang! IRKS me when people do that ... YOU get up there, that size, in that suit, with the whip and sing AND "keep perfect time" ... and let us score YOU !! ... damn. Given that year and a hundred Other Factors, including his age at the time, I'd guess even ol' Simon "Scowl" 'd give him thumbs up !

All I can say is, "Be still my beating heart!

@TheMusicanddrama Possibly something to do with the editing. Not his lack of ability. He sings other songs and keeps perfect time.

Gorgeous beyond belief.Too bad he probably can't speak in paragraphs. It's very hard to see him now, all that beauty fallen by the wayside.Oh well, we have the pictures.
-
Yes, yes, he's amazing and all that... but he's out of timing when he comes in on nearly every line

The so called "men" in Hollywood today, aren't fit to carry his manly sized boots!
-

@art2liv4 No. Clint wasn't in Calamity Jane--the song is from the musical. Doris Day actually sang it in the movie.
Clint was an absolutely perfect specimen. There were no imperfections about him at all. The man was simply gorgeous! George Clooney...Brad Pitt...you're just little boys next to the mighty Clint.
