I rather suspect it's just me,but I really cannot find Maureen Lipman remotely funny! Ok,maybe when she played Beatie for the British Telecom' commercials,way back,but that was about it.And when she took her 'homage' to the unequalled Joyce Grenfell on tour in "Re-Joyce" she was absolutely dire! Other than that,VW is a comic genius & unrivalled.
