crap never mind fallout 2 takes on 2241 not 2161+fallout 1 2241+fallout 2 2277 fallout 3 fallout new vegas= 2281 why cant they continue with the original person on fallout one WHY.:(

@sword1548 in fallout 2 you play as the vault dweller's grandson. it also gives a brief explanations on what happened to the vault dweller after the events of fallout 1.

wait wait,i know i have not played fallout 1 or 2 and i only have fallout 3 and new vegas but does fallout1 continue with fallout 2 because i see a guy walking away from the screen which made me cry a little because hes looking down but anyways does he continue in fallout 2 or is it just another person because when you start fallout your all grown up and it doesnt show it like fallout 3 because you have a birthday but whatever is it a new person or is it the same and I dont care if you spoil me!

People always seem to forget that a lot of Obsidian (Makers of Fallout New Vegas) had a huge part of the team who made the originals.
I really like all the games. Although RPG wise, Fallout 1 and 2 have more options whilst gameplay wise, I prefer 3 and 4.
