Saw a LFM for a Von 5/6 Epic up and no rogue in party and they didn't want a rogue in the party. Evidently they were going to res people to the other side of the traps because according to the party, rogues can't get the traps on epic anyway.
Dextrin from Khyber is a full Assassin Build and yet still has full UMD to cast heal scrolls, a 60 disable (even rolling a 1 on Epic doesn't fail on the traps) - Dextrin can save on all traps on a 2 or higher (of course rolling a 1 is always a save failure). Being an Assassin doesn't mean a rogue has to gimp his abilities in balance, diplomacy, jump, move silently, hide, umd, search, spot, listen, disable or open lock. You can have good DPS and still be a trap monkey, so I decided to post this video to those that are non-believers in rogues. Dextrin can solo Amarath as well and you can't do that without DPS.

Why do people say Assassins can't dps? They usually have high Int. This means good skills and extra sneak attack. I love this game but some people are such critics. I even have a Wizard18/Rogue2 that can trap monkey. They say it cant be done

Its funny because the crowd is a 50/50 crowd, Some ppl believe if your an a assassin you cant do traps, other ppl believe if you are a trap monkey you are a waste of space because you cant do Dps....(the same ppl would rather take an assassin) So everyone is hating on the rogue :/

amen brother, i have been told no for so many partys for vod because my rouge was 12 rouge 6 rgr 2 ftr, got told my trapping skills werent good enough

aww.. ty for posting this.. my guild is pressuring me to TR my rogue into a fighter or Wiz.. grrrr. I love the challenge of playing a rogue.. i wish there was an all rogue guild.. lol.. kidding..kinda.

@Kangurozzo lol i no. i always choose rouges in games. and in ddo a sorc guy was always dissing rouges till i started picking on him with my lvl 4 asasion. i destroyed him in pvp. then he chalnged me to a quest chalenge. i said since he chalgenged me i got to pick the quest. i chose redfang. hehe.
