Anyone who believes this was a hoax is a complete idiot. All the film reels we have of nuclear bombs exploding are all fake? The fallout contamination across Utah in the 50s and 60s from Nevada Test Site were all fake too? Tell that to all the people who suffered leukemia as a result of radiation exposure. What else do you believe is a hoax? That 9/11 was an inside job? The Holocaust never happened? Elvis is still alive and well? JFK was murdered by mutants?

@orkneymist And a HS science teacher thought I had a very good point in questioning why a critical mass of U 235 would explode. In fact, Einstein himself doubted it would be possible --- it was much less possible than nuke power plants. That's from his letter to FDR. The problem is the enormous spacing between nuclei, and the kinetic theory of heat ---- the critical mass would melt or vaporize long before the claimed energy release takes place.

@orkneymist For nuke bombs, I have had a grade school teaching aid, 2 high school science teachers, a physics professor, and a physics graduate student saying they might be a hoax. The teaching aid said that I should not worry about about nuke bombs, because I do not know if it even happened, because I myself have never seen it. The others had questions themselves about the science. One HS science teacher admitted that some say the FUSION ( hydrogen, thermonuclear ) bomb is a hoax.

@orkneymist The moon hoax was used by my psychology professors as an illustration of the ASCH CONFORMITY EXPERIMENT ( type that into youtube to see an illustration ). They said one could make a compelling case that it was filmed in a studio, and that the reason so many people believe it is they do not think for themselves, but CONFORM to what both the majority says is true, and those who are regarded as authorities in the society ---- in this case the news media.

@orkneymist And it was not only my physics professors who said with 100 % certainty, on their own accord, repeatedly, that the moon landing was a hoax, but psychology professor's as well, although the psych professor's were not as emphatic and angry at the NASA about the hoax. They put the moon landing in the same category as the JFK assassination, and used it as an example of a belief that was NOT psychotic. Somebody not believing what the news media or politicians say is not psychotic.

@bootr0s 1000's of testimonies ? Are you sure it is that many ? Please help me out, and supply references to the 1000's of Japanese saying that they saw a single bomb destroy Hiroshima. The benefits to this lie as enormous ---- it is an excuse for war with Iraq, Iran, and serves as blackmail for Israel ---- their "Samson Option." I admit, they might have used a conventional bomb, which would have caused sirens to go off, causing many to flee Hiroshima, and then carpet bombed it.
