Hi guys! So the challenge over at SVS was to come up with our own SPN character and use an actor who has never been on the show before. I figured since I have an abundance of clips with Tom I might as well take advantage. It's totally not because he is the first love of my life, no not at all. =P For real guys, wouldn't it be neat to see these gorgeous men on screen together? Well maybe if SPN gets a 7th season they'll consider Tom since Smallville is ending *cries* Noooooooo!!!! It's been a great 9 years so far and I can't wait to see what the cast and crew give us in it's last lap. I love you forever Smallville!!! You were the first series I was ever hooked on and I know I'll be hooked forever. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this little AU. I really worked my booty off to get this done so please let me know what you think. Unless you think it sucks cuz then I might cry, lol. I'm always nervous about posting AU's. I think I suck at manips. I tried to hide all hints of Clark's Superman "S". Remember guys, Tom is not Clark Kent in this vid so you don't get confused. I originally tried to uses Erica as a demon who tricks Dean, but went back to Tom last minute. This was easier to do. Anyway again, this is all pointless talk. Keep reading to help yourself understand what the heck is going on in the above clips. Thanks!

SUMMARY:
We are all given guardian angels at birth, Mary Campbell's is named Nathaniel. Throughout her life Nathaniel is there watching her, protecting her, and making the nightmares from living a hunters life disappear. Then one day he has to stand by while Mary agrees to a deal from a yellow eyed demon without knowing the cost. Nathaniel is unable to prevent Mary's death and he separates himself from heaven feeling as though he failed Mary and God. After many years alone, Nathaniel hears whispers among other angels about the disorder in heaven and how the number of guardian angels is now few. Determined to redeem himself he sets out to find Mary's sons, Sam and Dean Winchester. When he sees the sacrifice that the Winchester brothers make to save the world and put Lucifer back in his cage, Nathaniel feels he must find a way to save Sam and reunite him with his brother. There is only one way to get Sam back. A certain power is needed to unlock Lucifer's prison, the grace of an angel. Nathaniel decides to make the ultimate sacrifice, the only way to save Mary's youngest son and release him from the devil's cage unharmed.

CHARACTER BIO:
Nathaniel is Mary's guardian angel. His name means, God has given. He can't interfere with free will, like all angels. He can only be seen by children. He is willing to do anything for Mary and her family.

Cas: Angel of the Lord, we have work for you

Nathaniel: It's ok, it's over now. Know that wherever you are I'll be watching over you

Yellow eyes: Think about it, you could be done with hunting forever. A white picket fence, station wagon, couple of kids. So, what do ya say?

Dean: She used to tell me when she tucked me in that angels were watching over us.

Sam: You never told me that

Dean: She was wrong, there was nothing protecting her

Cas: No one escapes

Nathaniel: Then it's up to me?

Cas: Yes, but as you know you have to take certain steps. There's no reason this would have to come to pass

Nathaniel: I've made my decision

Cas: You're willing to accept it?

Nathaniel: I'm just trying to keep my promises for once

Also, the end says May because it was for the May challenge. They extended the deadline, thank goodness!

OMG SARAH! If this happened on Supernatural, (WHICH IT TOTALLY HAS TO HAPPEN NOW, SINCE I WATCHED THIS LIL MASTERPIECE!!) I will freak out! *hugs* what are you talking about??? I think you did an amazing job with the manips and the voiceovers! It went by very smoothly!!!! And I totally love the plot you've come up with! The ending was my most favorite part...with the Winchester Brothers finally encountering Nathaniel! SO EPIC! And the music was beautiful! Amazing job! ^_^...*grabs cookie*

Wow, I am speechless ... \ o / \ o / The best crossover supernatural / smallville I have ever seen.Is a pity not to have many comments. I'm so happy with the character you created.Nathaniel is super Hot!!! And as others already mentioned, the last scene is incredible.
