  • @webt ????

  • @Skipper56270 lool

  • FAIL!

  • @Louismethe

    You're welcome

  • @Louismethe

The reason why they often have the speed breaks on on final is to avoid reducing too much the thotle in case of a go around. Keep in mind that even for the best engines it takes from 20 to 40sec to get full power from idle. So imagine that you are in short final with low power and for a reason or an other you need to overshoot, 20 sec could make a great difference!

  • wow this was really hard!!

  • putain l'atterrissage koi.. xD

  • @marick626 maybe you don't know, but BAE-146 (Avros) were used in military and they can land also really hard though. It was a hard landing, but i'm sure the airplane wasn't hurt. I flew once in the Avro and it's pretty loud and noisy. A boring flight sometimes need a bit action =)

  • @webt mdr

  • Les passagers .....

  • @Louismethe you just said why, they're used to brake the speed... And this is at London city, approach angle is twice the normal one so it's very steep.

  • Tabarnak !!!!!

  • I'm pretty sure this one had to be removed by barge up the Thames. Good advert for the strength of the 146/RJ series though

  • should one even land with the air brakes on? Gees, if you need to use the air brakes to land, just declare a missed approach and try again until you can land without using them. You are putting those passengers in an unnecessary risk. One of those tires could have easily been destroyed and god knows what would happen then. Let alone the complaints from the passengers.
