Icebiking

Here in Sweden we had freezing temperatures since before Christmas, so over 35 days now, without a single day above freezing. Looks like Sweden's ice skaters will be lucky this year: the cold seems to hold out at least another 10 days, which means that the long distance ice race Vikingarännet will take place in 2010. This race, which attracts thousands of ice lovers, covers a distance of about 80km from Uppsala all the way into the center of Stockholm. See http://www.vikingarannet.com/
