I loved this game, and I never once landed a hit on that damn boss. I killed her with the extra magic you get when you use a continue, and I figured that was the bad ending you got for using continues...

@sicstyl it's actually easy once you get control of your close surrounding. There's technical moves you'll learn against opponents and it's much easier. Last boss there's a much easier way to beat than this on the video too.

@daminmancejin Lol, sega version can't hold water to this Arcade. It's totally different game and Arcade is 100 times much better, just look at the moves, bosses, graphics are better too. Everything is much better dude.

@jcdenton2k yeah it´s funny that from this game that looks so ridiculous we got shadow dancer for genesis which has a better atmosphere, the same happend with the original shinobi game, which was really stupid, so joe passe from rescuing baby ninjas to go fighting demons, ghost samurais, godzilla, terminator, spider-man & Batman, etc.

Wow...the arcade version is absolute crap compared to the genesis/mega drive version. The animations are hilariously awkward, like out of one of those 'interactive movie' games. I feel sorry for the poor saps that actually played it through to the end like that, all that money popped in the machine for a pretty mediocre ending. Also the final boss on Genesis is 100000x cooler, and tougher to beat, just saying.

You cannot imagine how much money I had spended as a kid, playing thiss game in the cafes that had it.. I never got to finish it though.. So, I saw its ending after 15 years..

I work for a video game distributor for the middle east, and I wonder why no one makes platform games anymore? Its jsut racing or shooting video games.... I am aware that sammy who own sega are relasing the first platform game in a long time soon, but apparently its not that good.... bring back shadow dancer
