Typical comment reply. Pathetic. I'm not saying the performer is bad, nor am I saying I'm any better. I am saying that whoever the actor is, he may well have a nice voice, but was in no way suited to the role, as he cannot physically sing it! Would you cast a Jesus who can't hit the top notes?
And I can hit those notes thanks. I'm sure that this Caiaphas has a more extensive and better quality upper register than I have, but he can't even hit the low F, let alone the D.

this Caiaphas is absolutely terrible. Far too contemporary sounding voice, and he speaks the lines "this common crowd is much too loud" and "they are a curse they should disperse" to cover the fact he can't reach the bottom Ds. Awful casting.
