WWE ratings go down every year though. I don't think you understand how hard it is to sustain ratings for a genre that's frowned down upon in society today, especially for a 6 year old company. No company has done this before TNA. You can't compare TNA ratings to WWE ratings because WWE have over 5 decades of history behind them, they should be 50 times ahead of TNA but they aren't because they got lazy after buying out WCW whereas TNA are obviously a hungry young company.

It was a show that set the foundation of the storylines for the future, it's very difficult to do that with just wrestling matches.

wwe has lacked old school guys and me being old school fan, i have toned in to tna more. nwo no matter how you looked at it was huge success, and kind of have that faction going again, wwe brings back dx but only hbk and hhh that is stupid. factions is what makes wrestling more exciting.

going to wcw now I thought tna was pose to focus on the younger talent Tna have no choice to bring in older talent to shine for a federation.

That's only your opinion though, a lot of people enjoy it more. I prefer the star power and strong main event scene, which is what will get them more recognition compared to having better matches down the card.

Overall I thought it was an ok show but not a great show. I like the Main Event Mafia & I'm interested on seeing where they take it. I kept my expectations low for the Foley announcement & I came away rather pleased. But the there were a few things that annoyed me: the wrestling was too short, the tag team gauntlet was a complete mess, Don West, and that venue was way too small. But with the new music & graphics, it gives impact a whole new feel. If I was to score the show I'd give it a 7 of 10.

I understand what you mean. TnA needs to focus on building their more for a while they were targeting the global audience for ratings and sales, now in recent months they've been targeting a mainstream area/casual fans as which is the best option to pick up ratings specially w/ Foley in the company and given TnA his blessing will defiantly get rating push. but at the same time whats holding the company back is trying to plz all fan groups they need more mainstream and global 1st

I like TNA but the fans have been saying for well over a year they'd be growing in a few months. The facts are, until they over come some big booking issues, the ratings will continue to stay between .9-1.2

Exactly TnA ratings are actually going up from fsn days to now if you look at it from that side. yeah WWE is been in the mainstream eye for decades but at the same time there looked down upon by that same eye while TnA public eye is only been there for years, They are liked and praised by them for effort and that's why along w/ GameTrailerTV and UFC, TnA is Spike's highest rated programing on the network hell TnA should have a wrestling show on G4Tv it's basically the same viewers
