  • Great Story, the guys dad John Harland Sr, died pioneering a new "direct route" to the top.

I would like to see someone climb that.

    Respect

Id so love to climb the Eiger one day

  • wow jsut wow, now i know what i want to do in life

  • @ninjabomber1 Eiger is more technical. Everest was climbed in 1924 by Mallory (almost) by this time people couldn't even make it to the White Spider on Eiger. In no way is it even comparable to Everest both require different plans of attack.

  • @damonclutterbuck It's clear that you are not a real climber. If you were you would not make fun of other peoples' efforts. All the best.

  • @Ninjabomber and you've climbed em??

  • funny Ueli Steck makes these guys look like bumblies... oh they are. haha

  • Fantastic, awe inspiring , totally stunning , A real credit to all mountaineers.

  • Melissa- great example of opening your mouth in a fraternity of people who are bound to know more than you. Silly billy.

  • do you think she self narrates everything she does?

  • @melissaxcatherinexxo

You don't need oxygen on the Eiger it's just 3,970 m (13,025 ft.) high

(The Mount Everest is 8,848 m (29,029 ft) high and there are people that climb even this mountain without oxygen)
