My son is in Delta about to set sail on the Eagle. I am watching this for the first time (not sure how I missed it before).Thank You for sharing, difficult to write through tears. Definitely bitter sweet.

This video brings tears to my eyes. I hope you don't mind that I shared it with the parents of our "Sponsor Cadet Family". I am sure it brought back bittersweet memories of R-Day.
Did your son sign up for the Sponsor Family program? As "Parents" to (10) cadets, it is the best thing we ever did.
This is a tough time for the swabs. And, tough for their parents too, since communication is so limited. Just hang in there. Before you know it, he will be 4th Class!

This is very touching! Was this produced by the parents of an incoming 2014 Cadet?
Swab Summer will undoubtedly be the most difficult part of the whole CGA experience - for the cadet & the parents. I wish I could tell each & every one of the new Swabs that things will indeed get better. Keep in mind the wonderful opportunities waiting at the end of 4 years. Well worth the effort. These young men & women are some of our finest.

@xDusty88x Thank you for the kind comments. Yes, my son is a 2014 swab. My husband and I are so very impressed by the upperclass cadets. Everyone we have come into contact with has been wonderful! Thank you for being a sponsor parent. I know it means the world to the cadets.
