Now, talk about a wedding in the wild. Hundreds of family and friends attended a colorful wedding of the Wajir North Member of Parliament, Mohammed Gabow and his bride Naima Koreya, which was held yesterday at Kor centre in Laisamis District. Gabow and Naima Koreya tied the knot at a ceremony that did not have the usual marriage vows that many of us are used to. Hellen Kimaru reports.
This is not inter marriage Rendille and Somalis are ONE FAMILY and brothers. I am Somali and consider Rendille, brothers of the Somali people, and our languages are almost same. I would marry Rendille girl as one of us and never considered as inter marriage.

Congrats Gabow, you decided to share this happy day with your people in Wajir. It has become typical of people with money to do private expensive lavish ceremonies in manicured green lawns of Nairobi social clubs. At least there are some decent MPs left in our parliament. Good luck to the lovely couple.
