Peru 2008 - Inti Raymi Pt1 Cusco

slideshow of the Inti Raymi Festival or Festival of the Sun - this is from the part in Cusco which starts about 9 in the morning.


The ceremonial events begin with an invocation by the Sapa Inca in the Qorikancha, also spelled Koricancha square in front of the Santo Domingo church, built over the ancient Temple of the Sun. Here, the Sapa Inca calls on the blessings from the sun.

Que hermoso es mi Cusco....cuanto se hace extrañar...en ningun lugar hay otro igual que el....Cusco es unico y magico... ojala algun dia pueda volver a pisar sus tierras...porque viendo toda estas imagenes me entra una nostalgia tan grande...cuantos recuerdos desde mi niñes hasta mi adolecencia CUUUUSCOOOO...cuanto te quiero..
