I auditioned with this Italian Aria for the New Hampshire All-State Festival in Novembor 2010. This performance landed me the title as the #1 high school Soprano singer in the state of New Hampshire.

"penero vamero" translates to "love is pain, all in vain"-- This song talks about how "hopeless it is to look for kindness"! This song is much less...peppy. My thought on your performance is that it really lacks an emotional connection. Accurate notes and all, terrible mental dynamic.

Thank you! And when I sang for New Hampshire's Jazz All-State audition, and I had to make artistic choices for the audition song, my voice teacher told me to look up some things I could do on youtube as well! It's pretty helpful! I hope some of my technique helps you in learning this song- It's beautiful!
