Watch out spot for seal hunting near glacier in NW Greenland

My uncle and I went seal hunting near the glacier in Ummannaq/Umanak. In the end my uncle says "Now we're just having to wait for the seal to come up to the surface".
Later the wind increased and the slush ice around us became more massive and we got stuck stuck 20minutes before being able to fight our way out of the ice. (See other clip).
The sounds near the galcier was like new years eve, or like a thunder, with big "explosions", when the glacier was every 5 minutes was cracking.

For your knowledge seal hunting is part of Greenlandish culture. They use everything of the seal, litterally. They don't kill seals for fun, or to be macho.

In Greenland when you hunt, you use as much possible of what you catch, regardless if it's a fish, bird, seal, whale etc. As little as possible goes to waste.

Hunters are only allowed to catch a small quote of animals in a certain time each year.
