@yichen100 Dragon symbolized the Monarch in Oriental Society. It was natural for the King of Joseon to use a dragnal flag. Flags at the time didn't mean the flags of 21st century, there were multiple flags the country used, Dragon was the one that symbolized the Monarch, the King.
