Herbalife is one of those companies that other MLM companies refer to as a good example of the industry! I built my distributorship beginning in 1983.
Mark Hughes and Larry Thompson taught us all HOW to build the business using what are now called "old school" methods which the company supported and encouraged us to "plug in" and utilize. Back in those days the company supported Tues. & Thurs. hotel oppurtunity meetings with Sat. morning opportunity/traing meetings. It was every distributors responsibility to fill he seats with butts. We did that by using all the "old school" methods such as newspaper ads, three foot rule, flyers, posters, list of friends and business associates, wearing the button "Lose Weight Now; Ask Me How" etc.
Mark and Larry boiled it down to:
1. Use the product.
2. Wear the button.
3. Talk to people at every opportune moment.
I can vouch that these methods, when applied consistantly and persistently, worked.
In my case i got me to $10K /mo in less than one year. Adjusted to todays economy it would exceed over $40K/mo.
I said all that to say this, those "old school" methods have been dead for over 10 years! If you aren't using todays "new school" methods your business is going nowhere!
