KJ do you know they will STOP YOUR CHARGE PRIVILEGES IF YOU CUT THAT DEAL???

ASK THEM FOR A WRITTEN STATMENT DOCUMENTING WHAT YOU THINK YOU ARE "AGREEING" TO! (My bet - you won't GET one, because they don't want you to see the "fine print!") My behomoth bank told me, after 5 months of fighting - that "nothing ever gets put in writing - only taped phone calls" !!!

hey dinastory - What can you do? You can tell them to go F**k themselves! Just stop throwing GOOD MONEY AFTER BAD.

Your "credit" is THEIR GAME!
EF their game!

You wanna buy a house? In THIS economy? Then WHY WORRY??!!
Pay those who pay you some RESPECT.

And remember - if these major banksters hadn't rolled the dice of greed, then cried for OUR TAX dollars to survive - they would be GONE & YOUR debt would be expunged!

They want us to pay DOUBLE now?
I agree - REVOLT!

I saw this on Dateline last night and when I logged into my B of A account they had a 800 # to call to lower your interest rate. They asked many personal questions about my finances and offered the same thing they offered you. I don't want my card closed and put on a 5 year payment plan that "typically" is at a lower rate or some BS debt consolidation plan. So a manager is suposed to call me back within 48 hour, whatever.

@mad4dskilz

I e-mailed the book to your Yahoo! address. Whether you read it or not is up to you. At least you will have had the opportunity to inform yourself about what's in there.

Awesome job, Rocherchic! FYI, Barclays Bank is "bending me over" in a similar situation with 29.99% interest. They insulted me with the 28.99% decrease because they said that I had made late payments and was over the limit. I was over the limit--because of the interest! This is my fault because I wasn't paying attention to what was going on with the card. With the except of a 7day late fee, the others were minutes or hours late! It's unconceivable! What can I do? I can't ruin my credit..

Outstanding. I was wondering if there was others out there pissed off as I am about the banks and Federal government's screw up of our financial institution. BOA tried to raise my interest rate on a fixed rate for the life time of the loan. They reversed themselves after my threatening letter. These CEOs, Executives, board members, and Govt officials make too much money. They blame the economic crisis as their reason to raise interest rates. They created it and we pay. Well that's BS
