If we were really too look into it I wonder exactly what percentage of debtors are sued for credit card debts? We know that unless their Bankruptcy Navigator Index is high enough the creditors know there's no point, and that many, many debtors are never sued, or are sued at a time after the relevant statute of limitations has run (meaning the debtors have a valid defense provided they have sense to use it).

a professor from any institution doesn't necessarily mean he's the smartest person in the world. walking away from one's debt is the reason we're as fucked up in the country as we are. i oppose this debtors revolt because of what ann minch stands for. the woman is a liar and the fact that she's given a forum to spread her deceit makes her worst than hitler himself w/ his propaganda against jews. if she were an honest person, we'd know what really happened to trigger all this bullshit

I have been to India, it is hot,humid and incredibly dirty. The average peasant doesn't speak English.They currently don't have the type of infrastructure needed to be China. Perhaps you are right and they will replace China but it is better for them to export to the rest of Asia. If india is looking to replace than wht did they just buy 100metric tonnes of gold fro mthe IMF? It's pretty clear they don't want to hoard US dollar reverves.

India will replace China as an exporter and financier of the West. Indians need jobs, they speak English, and they invest outside their own country now. How did an obscure, straight-to-video feature like "Slumdog Millioinaire" get to the Oscars? The powers-that-be wanted to make sure American attitudes toward India and Indians took a positive turn.
India serves as a counterweight to China. We will be hearing much more from and about India in the years to come. The "Great Game" is still afoot!

China also has huge dollar reverses. They are going to take a bite, a huge bite, they are going to lose billions as their stockpiles of US treasury notes and bonds are worth less and less each day; nominally and inflationary.

They will get burned. The thing is though they still have the factories, the manu-base. They can just switch customers(other asians).
What can we do? print more money? We don't have factories anymore. We have empty strip malls. Rude awakenings are coming my friend.
