Wrestling isn't faked. It's booked (the outcome is pre determined) and sometimes a definite spot is listed (certain moves that are holy shit moments) however you can't fake a bump or a cut. In fact cuts are accepted or even encouraged as it draws viewers. Moves are set to cause less damage, necks cradled tables already weakened etc, but what you see here is a genuine injury.

The tacks are real, just like the barbed wire is real and just as able to tear through flesh as any other barbed wire. When people say wrestling is 'fake' they're referring to the fact that the matches' victors are pre determined before the actual event. Clearly a lot of the impacts aren't completely accurate, or else these guys would be hospitalised on a daily basis. Wrestlers put their bodies on the line for our entertainment. It is a brutal job, 'fake' or not.
