    Love this. Bob Palais (referenced at 4:53) was my very first math professor in college. Very nice and goofy guy. Made sure to tell us about pi being wrong. Good stuff.

    Why can't we use Eta as 1/2 Pi? I mean its already 1/4 Tau and and wouldn't most equations would be even simpler with that? Just less fractions to deal with

    we use pi because graphing in tau gets difficult
