@BlackMors high heels actually encourage your knees to bend and thus give you the tucked pelvis etc. It works pretty nicely. Though you're right, it does limit the range at which you can change levels.

I don't really think so, when i wear high heels I have less difficulties be it soft dancing or defined dance

I think it would be harder to dance, especially belly dance with high heals, when a lot of the moves to be correct you need flat foot or to pull the moves off you go from flat to high... ya know?

after a bit of laziness I restarted with the Amira 101 i told you about and am amazed how things can improve with a bit of a pause :)
and neon s dvd is really good.
I have a new one, luscious bellydance workout by Neon and 2 other dancers. It s looooovely - it trully feels like dancing if you prefer that to technique training :)))

if you re like me and have always danced at festivities, and are for the 1st time learnin the movements "the right way", it s hard - and frustrating, ha? ;) this passes, for sure.. the easiest dvd i ve tried is amira s 101. It was my "easy start" , and then i bought most of world dance new york's so far, can recommend any ;) for starting, neon s are really really good.
give them a try, youj ll get the movements for sure!!! take care!

What excellent teaching! As soon as I accomplish a few things, when I can I can't wait to begin instrucrtion with Neon One of the best seen yet, yayy!
