This is an homage to the 1991 NES video game, Tecmo Super Bowl. This first video shows the familiar standings sequence at the end of regular season play. However, this is not merely a capture of the video game, but completely recreated sequence highlighting the 2006 NFL season. If you've ever played Tecmo Super Bowl, you will love this.

When? 1991? Aside from the fact that my video has 2006 plastered all over it, there are a lot of other things that were different back then. The Jaguars and Ravens weren't franchises either. The Titans were still the Oilers, and the Raiders were still in LA. There were only 6 divisions instead of 8, and there were 6 wild card teams instead of 4. Oh yeah, and the Atlanta Falcons (you know, that team from Georgia on the east coast?), they were a part of the NFC West division.
