  • Everyone knows it was an accident. The ship was made by toyota and had a stuck accelerator! LOL They should really do a recall on those ships and take a closer look at the gas pedal. lol "oh shit, I cant stop!"

  • how about cows?

  • Do you guys want more earthquakes or are you done whale hunting?

  • The japanese just honored the ancestor and screamed bansai!!!!!!!! when they hit the boat

  • Jane Velez Mitchel is freaking hot, smart, and she is ethical. I'm glad there are people like her in the media.

How can people say that the whalers did not intentionally ram that boat.

  • @jmk1a1 Exactly why are humans more important than whales?

  • @captainalant that's name of the Sea Shepard ship that came to the Ady Gil's crew's rescue.

  • @revdocken

Been here (Japan) 12 years and I'd have to agree...

All the facts and BS here makes CNN look like sensationalist opportunist amateurs...

Bloddy check your facts CNN. This is just to sad to call journalism...

  • CNN needs to get of the PC trip and start broadcasting the full story.

In hindsight maybe but do a search for 'Sea Shepherd dumps activist Bethune' and you might find some interesting details that should be taken into consideration...

Sure save the whales, I'm all for it, but not by skewing the facts and chain of events..

  • @jmk1a1 dude, I live in Japan, Nobody here eats whale. Nevermind that the Whale meat that does make it off the back of the truck to the markets is so contaminated with mercury that people who eat it on a regular basis would run the rest of Minamata disease. If you talk to the oldest generation here in Japan they will tell you of memories of the war when they had to eat whale meat in school as it was the only source of protein available. THEY HATED IT! THE THOUGHT OF IT MAKES THEM SICK TODAY!

  • I thought Bob Barker was dead.
