Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand PC Gameplay Wake/Karkand +Assignment Details

Just a short video of the crazyness that occurs on Karkand and Wake Island in the EPIC Back to Karkand Expansion. Worth the wait? It is truly epic, and all of our fears of clustered-in checkpoints and shrunken maps were proven to be false. DICE really delivered and it really makes BF3 Vanilla look like a crap-pile. It really looks unfinished.

I was asking myself "I remember VISIBLE motion blur back in the ALPHA, where is it in the final, it is on in the options!" It's in Back to Karkand, along with insane amounts of destruction. Campers: you are not safe in your hidey-hole in Karkand! Don't believe me though, pause the video at random moments to see what everyone else is saying! (Hint: that it's awesome!)

-Weird glitch, it allowed me to spawn on the AH-1Z after it was full on the Wake Island carrier, I spawn STANDING ON TOP OF the Cobra!

how do u get such good quality? Do u have special render settings for vegas or so?

@Iceman24592 You're not the first person who has said that. I've never felt I've done anything special. I've actually been using the Windows Live Movie Maker because I'm too lazy to deal with Vegas or Premeire :P But I basically capture through Fraps, edit in movie maker, save as HD quality and upload. The biggest quality hit comes from Youtube's compression, as the RAW .avi that gets capped can be up to 2gb/minute. That and it's letterboxed because my res is 1920x1200 and I forget to change it.

@Iceman24592 I also haven't seen other people's videos to see how the quality is worse. They may not have as powerful a rig and are toning down the settings or resolution.

The PC version of this game makes the console version look like a fucking ps2 game. This looks amazing !!!

@KillerBiscutz Aw :( We all start somewhere. I remember when Battlefield 2 came out and I could barely run it on low on my store-bought PC that I had put a low-end GPU in. If you give it a year or two, you will be able to get a good GPU to run it for much less than now. It will be worth the wait :)

Sorry bout that, it was actually on my end, I was watching it via my iPod and the sound was all scrambled the first time I watched it. first time that's ever happened, so I thought it was the video but I watched it again & it was perfectly fine. So that officially makes your video AWESOME! Good stuff.

@Ceej64 It sounds fine to me, volume is a little low but it sounds fine if you turn it up.
