@LeonTheMortgageAgent "Don't be moronic, it is simplistic thinking to say the world is zero-sum."
Even if it isn't the economic system doesn't support reciprocal distribution of wealth according to contributions from anyone who wants to be a contributor. It wasn't designed to be like that and isn't able to support something like that even if people want to make the system do that.

Nice Republican "free"-the-corporations mythology: convince the average citizen that his individual free-enterprise shares the same traits as huge corporations (NOT!). The central fact is, government acts the way it does BECAUSE the rich own it. Saying government is the problem deflects attention from the actual culprits: the wealthy that have always manipulated societies for their own pathological need for power. "Dog-eat-dog" theory only justifies any horror the corporate masters commit.
Man kind has a world of history. that shows people rich and poor taking advantage of each other. But when you have Goverment that has too much power, they will gladly take money from the rich and screw the poor. The problem is not the rich it it the Goverment. Total goverment distroys everyones weath.
@thestonemaster81 there are wealthy people in those countries, its all the same rich people from all over the world anyway they are all in cahoot to take all the worlds wealth, it doesn't matter where it comes from
If you think the world operates as a zero sum you do not understand how value is created. Value is relative, therefor we can make a trade with eachother and both be better off. Don't be moronic, it is simplistic thinking to say the world is zero-sum. Has life improved since the 2000 years ago? No of course not, because some one cant improve their position without screwing someone else over. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
The economy is a zero-sum equation. When we each take what we make, everyone gets a fair share. When the Corporate and Owning Classes take MORE than their fair share, that leaves less for the rest of us.
When it takes more than it deserves, for its services, the government cannot do its jobs, the Middle Class doesn't make enough to pay its bills, and poverty increases. Unbridled wealth concentration CAUSES poverty. It also causes all of us to earn far less, and live less well, than we deserve.
@MakeItEmphatic G'day... Well done ! Thanks for posting this. The bloke is right. As a matter of fact, since the Babylonians took up Deficit-Finance, invented Irrigated Agro-Culture, and Salted their own Topsoil thereby ; the desire of some People to skim the Surplus' from running vast Herds of Sheeple, to overbreed, while shattering the Biosphere, has made every Desert on Earth. Now, that the Global Environmental-Surplus has gone, the Economy shall unravel.
lets look at the world where there is no weath. There where Goverments make sure there is no weath. Cuba Russa (at on time) North Kerea it is far worse.
The Powers-That-Be are parasites who've encroached on civil society in way's and too degrees as to breach the social compact.MF'ers have played one too to many games for their own good.
