I have always thought the church should be about love and not about control. It is good to hear a kindred spirit.

Amen! We need a Christian revival that is worldwide. We need to come back to scripture and not interpret the New Testament. Forget denominations I say. We need a new, singular denomination. It must not include idols, efigys, ritual, incantation, etc.

Your right the church isn't evil, it's God's bride. But we screw it up every now and again. As for Socrates, I don't have alot of knowledge. But I think Jesus could take him.
