What is the difference between exercising using a 'machine' and any other sport? If you mean work less on building muscle mass and more on cardio etc then yes, as increasing muscle mass can be counter-productive to growth.

I really like this routine. Not all of the exercises are crunches (with the exception of the split leg crunches). I don't like doing crunches since they hurt my back. Also, this routine seems to be fitted for beginners.

slim people have a really good chance of getting abs. everybody has abs, no matter what size. most peoples are covered up by a thin layer of fat. you can make ur abs show up better by just keeping lean =]

be careful when you go to the gym, don't overtraing yerself, if you are 15, you are still in a state of growth, so try to do sports using nothing but yourself, no machines or something similar.
Of course, healthy eating (fish, veggies, fruits - less meat and no fast food).

yes, the only REALLY able six packs you can see are in good lighting, after running, camera tricks or just body builders. im almost never feel to self-consious about what you do im glad to see people other than me who care about their physical health!!! try learning butterfly, its a swim stroke, it's very useful for the abs and much of ur important parts of the body!!!!!! find an indoor pool, it works really well!!!! =]

leg lifts are good, yes, but you should always vary your workouts to get the most you can out of your whole stomach, not just a specific area. for example: crunches, oblique crunches, inverted situps, plus there are 100s of other exercises for abes. just be sure to work all of it, not just one section.
