On September 11, 2003 the spirits of the 23 officers who died at the World Trade Center resumed patrol aboard an NYPD police launch dedicated in their honor. This is a video of that Launch's arrival and dedication - set to music.

I would have thought they would have numbered it Launch 23 and renumber the current one if there is one already.
