Andrej Meszaros puck to face 64 stitches by Anton Babchuk slap shot

Andrej Meszaros, ( see in high quality at 1:22 ) who got hit in the face by Anton Babchuk's slap shot with 20 seconds left in the second period 01/03/09. He did not return, as expected, because, as the team explained, the 64 stitches were not done in time. A quick note on Babchuk. He once won the AHL's hardest shot contest. The bloody gash was under Meszaros' nose.

Babchuck is one of the most underrated players in the NHL for one of the hardest shot. He should be in the hardest shot competition.

@KipsShow that's not really a matter of respect.. it's more like "Shit this guy's hurt and bleeding, get someone out here that can help him" As if the other team is gonna celebrate and skate away because a skater on the opposing team got hurt..
