This is Tata Nano Made in India, with A/c is less than $3,000 USD. I think this is Indian sucessfull in Engineering and open the doors for the world to low the price of the daily using vehicles to make everybody CAN have a car for TRANSPORTATION. #2 successful.

@1949kf I couldn't agree more....a lot of automakers could take lessons from this company.... I WISH a domestic manufacturer would release a no-frills "back to basics" car like this. Sadly half the people in North America need to drive useless trucks and SUV's because of their fragile egos, so something like this would never meet crash standards. The world NEEDS a "new VW bug".

People laugh at this car like they laughed at the VW Beetle back in the 1950's. This car is an engineering wonder when you consider the cost/performance ratio. It has four wheels, an enclosed body, heater etc and costs less than most motorcycles. Comparing this car to a $15000 car is unfair. It is aimed at people who up until this car appeared could never afford a new car. The car gets the job done.

@itsruw So instead of building lousy little cars, wouldn't the next logical step be to remove import tariffs and quotas from foreign automobiles to make them more affordable? Besides, I was thinking about relative prices if they chose to introduce this car to Europe or North America.

@jacketman22 not in the markets where this car is sold and thats actually the point. For example here in Indonesia used car prices are crazy compared to Germany or the US due to the protectionist legislation, do some research.
