Allow me to interject: What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning GNU system made useful by the GNU corelibs, shell utilities and vital system components comprising a full OS as defined by POSIX. Many computer users run a modified version of the GNU system every day, without realizing it.

well they do access it, write it and make it that good. data & personal info at risk? why? anyone can check the code and make sure there's no malware.

too many choices? how many is enough? i think, the more the better.

crappy? the worst program I've ever seen is MS Internet Explorer. Buggy as can be, never working properly (web designers have to write 2 sites - one for browsers and the other for IE), insecure, slow and unusable.

@dsego84 PART 3: Besides you can make any windows system immune to viruses "pop" did you see that? I unplugged the network cable. A Linux user will then tell you that makes your system useless at which point you can say so does putting Linux on it what's your point?

@dsego84 Part 2: Malware can be avoided on win without even having anti-virus. I'm making a video soon about how you can protect your Windows system for free while online. This will void the whole argument of Linux users and criticizing windows for malware nonsense. Having no malware for a system doesn't mean shit about it being a good OS if anything it would indicate the opposite.

@dsego84 Quite understandable. I actually believe they "could" make a good Linux distro or two if the community wasn't so immature. They are constantly changing everything. It's a unix like OS and there is nothing wrong with unix like systems like Mac OSX is unix like too but unlike linux they don't change things with every distro upgrade every 6 months. Developers can't make anything work with Linux. Personally I don't think there is anything wrong with windows 7 now read part two

@longhairsRcool Lost 4-5 years on Linux (Ubuntu mainly), I'm ready to switch to OS X or Windows. Linux sucks the life out of you, so many problems just piling up. Spending days and nights just making it work is not worth it.
