The Signature School is one of sixteen public charter schools ranked in the country's top 100 high schools, according to an annual survey released today by U.S. News & World Report. The Alliance congratulates the charter school communities that have earned this designation through a relentless focus on quality and success.
@robertmike57 hehe, you are very misinformed and your conclusions are wrong.
The lunches that students eat off campus is optional; they are recommended to bring lunch(which is much cheaper). Signature School "creams" students by providing some of the most challenging courses people take to do well on tests. This way, it doesn't allow people to be lazy by going the easy way through school. The limited classes are because of funding, & there is athletics ie track! Plus rec basketball & football.

is built on the students who go there, rich or poor. If the school is too challenging. You have the option to leave. simple as that.

Yes, signature does not provide Special Education classes, but it is not required to. Like private schools (signature), has the option of whether or not they want to except Students with Special Needs. Signature doesn't discriminate against the poor. In fact, the only reason there is a high percentage of wealthy students is because of the great school that it is. Going IB and taking the AP tests is completely optional. Just like how whoever wants to go to signature school can. Signature school>>

The point i am trying to make is not whether or not signature is receiving any funding, its that everyone who applies to signature school gets put into a raffle. The students are picked at random. If you have a sibling already attending signature school you are enrolled automatically. The reason signature is so highly ranked is because of all the students taking IB classes and taking AP tests. SIgnature schools requires sophomores to take 2 AP classes. AP Language and AP World History.

@Th31inNt34m So you admit that it gets funding beyond what the government provides. Those lunches students eat off campus are more pricey, a mechanism designed to keep out the poor students. Sure there's other ways to cream off students as ways to provide those high scores, limited classes no athletics ect , hence my statement of quasi private.

@robertmike57 So before you go shooting you mouth off maybe you should do your research and actually know something, anything, about Signature School.

@robertmike57 Maybe if you were to take a look at the channels name, you would see that it is a charter school. SIgnature School is one of the most culturally diverse, and excepting school I've ever been in. Oh, and signature school struggles more than any other public or private school with funding. With signature school being the #1 HIGH SCHOOL in the midwest (notice i mean ALL high schools), 2nd year as top Indiana AP Ranking, and the #3 charter school in all of America.

LOL! signature School is a quasi private school masqurading as a public school. Number of little games to keep the blacks, the cripples and LD's out that place. If public schools got the same level funding as Signature School, they would kick ass too in academics. And since that is a charter school "sucess" story, it can be figured most charter schools are the trash shit to make money for the greedy cocksucking rich like Andre Agassi.
