I was chatting with a friend today who was thinking of venturing into jazz, and was inspired to record this video. I'm no expert and not very good at this, but hopefully this will help and inspire someone to get into jazz mandolin. I showed most examples without using the flat or sharp notes for the most part. I want to make sure to say that these can be used for all notes, just remember where the root is and that is what the chord shape is called.
@yousome
I wasn't able to hold 2 courses down at the same time at first either. Over time it has become easier. Due to much practice my fingertips have flattened out which has made this technique easier.

when you play your Maj 6th/min 7th chords using frets 2233, for example, or when you play C M7th 5223, how are you stopping two strings with one/each finger? When I do that, my fingers have to be "flat" against the fingerboard, but your fingers look comfortably bent at each knuckle. ?

Nice video. Thanks for posting! You're mellow, easy to follow and your mandolin sounds really nice.
