  • ok, this may just be me but bear with me: when he's picking fruit and when the prof is grilling him about the names of the fruit etc, does anyone hear the audio being edited? for example, i can hear the wind when the professor asks the question but when the dude answers, the background noise is all quiet. like maybe someone was recording them in a studio. anyway that's it.

  • the savants look all so happy

  • these savants are absolutely amazing, shows the potential of the human brain

    What about Polish?

    *waits for a bit*

    *.......*

    "Gruszki"

    "Oh....I didn't know Polish."

    But very fascinating nevertheless.

there is a guy on youtube who does it the hard way, he learns several languages by practising each of them for one hour per day, or two hours per day, practising up to 10 hours each day. he learned many langfuages and is constantly learning new ones and making videos about his progress.

His channel is called laoshu505000 , check him out.

  • @Vivimord

tammet is very good at doing math, also he is famous for his very vivid and complex synesthesia, and also good at learning languages, he learned icelandic in one week for a documentary.

But i think the best mental calculator is Rüdiger Gamm.

  • @Vivimord He's a numbers guy, and does some calculations but not nearly as impressive as other math savants.

  • @Vivimord He is if you consider mathematics is a language as well :)

Btw Chez is never going to answer you. He closed his Youtube account.

  • @Chezrocksall i thought mr Tammet was a mathematics guy?

  • Wow that's amazing. Now there are three language savants, myself, Daniel Tammet, and Christopher Taylor. This is fantastic! :)
