I've skied from Butternut (MA) to Banff (BC) - both beautiful in their own ways. Broad Peak certainly reaches new heights! Thank you for posting for us that'll never get there.

where yu guys on the field touring alpine trip? i think some french guys skied from about the same point, how far did yu get down before you had to put the crampons back on!

@hotelbambu , No we were an independent team of 3 guys on the summit push. I skied from 7600 meters down to 5200 meters where the ice ended.
