On May 7, 2009 Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels signed into law a bill which raises the age in which teens can obtain a driver's license as well as banning teens under age 18 from using a cell phone while driving.

  • My thoughts are your thoughts. All raising the driving age will do is put a bunch of bad drivers on the road at a later age. If anything, kids should start learning to drive at about 13 and get their license when they're 16. Politicians think older age means more skill, but it's really more experience means more skill.

  • my best friend died at 17 because he was texting while driving. I'm all for banning cell phones for everyone. Nobody pays attention to the road while on cell phones
