You aren't very smart. Go watch Sonicsgate and you'll realize the fans had nothing to do with the team leaving.

Also OKC has no memorabilia hanging up that says Sonics. Check their rafters dumbass. The actual championship trophy and banner is actually in Seattle right now.

So continue to spew facts that you have no clue what you are talking about.

To be completely honest about it, if Seattle would have pulled a "Bennett" (purchase team, lie about their intentions to 'try' and keep the team in Sacramento), make an outrageous "offer" for a stadium that would never pass, claim they can't get the offer though, then apply for relocation, it would have gone through. Seattle's/Hansen's honesty in this situation burned them in the long run.

The real question with Cousins is if he will sign again with the Kings next seasons seeing how Kings could be playoff contenders in 2-3 seasons with new owners

I hear you on Cousins; I've hardly seen him play, but from some of the highlights that I've viewed and the stat lines that he's posted, he seems like he could be reminiscent of Derrick Coleman or Chris Webber. I guess that the question with a guy like that is whether he ever straightens out his mind, but if the Kings give up on him, they could be undermining their upside.

I want DMC back, he is going to be a franchise player and he will be a top 5 center once he gets his mind straight. And if tyreke works on his jumper then I would love to have him back too, but tyreke has been getting worse by the season so I wouldn't be too hurt if he left.

As a Kings' fan, do you want either or both of those guys back?

There's no reason to believe that the Kings would make more money in Seattle long-term. In Sacramento, the Kings enjoy a near-monopoly over the sporting dollar, whereas in Seattle, there's a lot of competition, a lot of different options for fans. Sacramento is thus the better bet.

Believe me, Seattle ought to have a team, but Sacramento is a good option for the NBA. And I think that Seattle will one day have a team again, but there will probably be a long wait.

How did the league "screw" Seattle twice? The league didn't screw Seattle this time; the Kings are Sacramento's team and the city and new ownership group stepped up to the plate. For Seattle to have taken that team would have been akin to what Oklahoma City (or Clay Bennett and his ownership group, to be exact) did to Seattle.

The Hawks have the arena; they don't draw well, but what these owners care about are the modern arenas with all the amenities and luxury suites.

Seattle's best bet now would probably be to wait for another ten or twelve years. At that point, the NBA might consider another expansion team, or the arenas built in the late eighties or early nineties might be deemed obsolete by certain owners.
