  • I personally prefer the Broadway revival version in overall delivery, although this is the only version I've found on Youtube where Czolgosz is actually singing the melody in the beginning. Well done overall, I just wish the tempo was faster, the opening and closing parts felt like a dirge, really brought the energy down. Nice voices, though.

  • @DarthGuybrush7 It was a very dark and powerful production. I happened to see it just days after the assassination attempt on US Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, so the overall mood seemed appropriate at the time.

  • Revive Sondheim's Assassins

  • It was an absolutely brilliant production. Should have run a year and been seen around the world.

  • @NightmaresDaydream Yeah. There are some parts that should not be played by people with high voices.

  • @pannicatack

Im the most unmusical person in this world, so i dont know anything about that stuff. xD

  • @NightmaresDaydream Uhh, Czolgosz is supposed to be a bass or a low baritone.

  • Love this Czolgosz. I dont like it when the singer who plays him has a too deep voice.

  • This is the best version of these songs I have found on Ytbe. The version I performed in live was sublime and transcendent. I will not compare the two versions, for that is my private opinion. Thank you for this sharing.

  • For what it is worth, I enjoy this version more than either of the Broadway recordings. You guys really nailed this song.
