Great I Am - New Life Worship

This is the first part of a 3-part series of videos we used for Easter. The second video was an inspirational video including the Scripture "why do you look for the living among the dead?" As that video ended, iWorship's video for New Life Worship's song "My Savior Lives" faded in. It was pretty cool to edit something that ended up being played in a service. Because of the lyrics, I felt I had to get all the way to the death scene a little early and that is why I filled the time in after that with a flashback of him carrying the cross. The pastor preferred that over extending the stone being rolled away scene which would have made more since logically, but then again, logic wasn't the goal.

I cant watch this without crying, I'm so grateful to have a God, who put up with all that suffering, for a sinner like me. He is so perfect, and didnt deserve that horrible death, but he loves us so much that he died for our sins. How can you see this movie and not feel convicted or bawl your eyes out, seeing the savior of the world, a man so pure, go through all that, just for us.
