i have the same problem with my 97 GMC Jimmy. I removed the booster to find a hole in the inner diaphragm. Replaceing the whole brake booster should fix you up

you need a new break booster!!! the air you hear coming from the break booster!!! makes the rpm dope pressure!! too the engine power!!!! once thats fix!!! then when you press on you breaks the rpm will be normal!!! no air sound from the break booster!!! no drop of pressure too the engine!!! then your done!!! back on theroad again!!! god bless!!!one!!

ok, i think your car has air in the brake lines, but if the brake booster is making like air noise, i recomend you to change it

i have the same leak come from the pedel but the pedel gose to the floor then the breake grabs whats rong

i just had the same exact problem to come to find out it is the brake booster i learned the hard way and bought a master cylinder for it but oh well with a truck with almost 250,000 miles on it i guess its a good idea to replace it too lol good video

Mines doing the same EXACT THING!!! yes this video was posted a year ago but im glad it was cause im almost POSITIVE with reading up on this, and watching your vid im having the same problem. I push brake and I hear nothing but " SHHHHHHH " and engine dies, i tow a jetski and when backing it in, it stalls almost every time in the water..

you need a new one yes...a seal went out that cant be replaced. mine did the same thing
