Since 60+% households are led by women (father afraid to offend mother, but mother will talk however she wants to father), and near the other 30% are single mother homes. (Although to be fair, the households with women domineering the man, the mother only screams because she notices weakness in the father.) It helps when women don't default to "You have a tiny penis, your a fag, your a mysoginist, or my favorite, your not a real man."

It's simple. Ask the men afraid of you if the leader in their family was woman. In an original household, boys that grew up in a "male as leader" house, are not afraid of women, or afraid to approach them. Where-as single mother households, or female led households cause men to tremble in front of women, because it brings memories of "don't speak until spoken to/ I'm under the authority of a woman" mindset they grew up with. They are afraid of correction. Not you.
