She was probably in her right to do what she did but couldn't she just report him rather than arrest him? Even if it was a stolen police car, if she reported it, she would have gotten instructions on what she had to do. I think its more dangerous to pursue at high speeds on the highway. But, I suppose she wanted to make a point that that was her jurisdiction!

apharot You are right about no one is above the law. However, she did not arrest him or give him a citation to appear before a judge. So what did the trooper accomplish? The cop probably got a slap on the wrist and wasted everyones time. Maybe next time she should call internal affairs and have them deal with a cop like that.
She was right on everything she did. He was driving at a very high rate of speed and just like anyone he needed to be pulled over and since it was a police car she needed to make sure it wasn't stolen (Thus the gun being drawn). No one is above the law and especially if he was driving as she said 100MPH than hes way out of line. Well done on her part.
